Yeh!!!!!! Good for you Marijeanne, Venita, and Lis. We finally are getting a family group. That makes you guys plus Dan's family and Dad and I. That is good. I have added each of you as administrators since you are the first to join. We can have everyone I guess if we want to. It just allows you to edit, delete etc. To post just click post and post away. I don't think you have to be an administrator to do that; just a team member. When you veiw the Blog you will see the Settings Template and View Bog etc. Just play with them and see what they are. You will see under team members all of our names and they are all checked now. We can configure the site to be just viewed by the family or we can opt to let the world visit us. This we will have to decide on. If you want your own Blog you can do that also by just creating one. Then if you have something you would want to share with the blogger world out there you can do that on your own site. Like Dan does poetry, his politics, etc. Mariejeanne you might like to share some of your writings or songs etc. It would be fun to see if we could find some Basque sites out there. I read one from Iraq once in awhile. I have never found any thing offensive until the other night and that made me a little uneasay about it. I don't know if there are any guards etc that can be utilized. Dan do you?? I have a site of my own but now with the family site I'm not sure if I want it or not. Right now on my site I have our family, Robisons, and Abraham's and Dan's. Some of the Blogs are very creative and I don't know how to do much of that. Also remember when you enter the Blog be sure to hit Refresh each time. Sometimes it will bring up more recent stuff. I think this Blog is part of Google. There are a lot of different sponsored Blogs. (correct me if I am wrong Dan) Google also has an Hello program that works great with this. I use it and it simplifies, (for me) the posting of pictures. Maybe now I know more I could do it with out though. It is free so I tried it and like it. Picasa also works with it and I am still with a trial program with it. It is good too. I may not have needed it either though. I'm sure you guys with your digital camera's have programs that you can use. I still have to scan pictures to my computer and then post them to the Blog. Most of them I had already scanned long ago. Now I will have to scan some more. I have moved mine around so much that some of them are not being found when I move them to my PAF program.
Well I am rambling now and it is late and I must go to bed. I came in to turn off the lap top and found that Marijeanne had accepted the invitation and wanted to know how to post pictures. That's what got me going. Click Post, preview, and then publish. I published one picture by copy and pasting I think. I don't have any pictures on the lap top or would try it now. Wil tomorrow. Love you all and post something so I can see if you can do it. Mom

Just to clarify... administrative rights let you edit or delete some other team member's post... not just your own. It also allows you to change the template we're using, what email address if any will be notified when the blog is posted to. Administrative rights allow you to invite other members and determine their status as well. So... unless one of you newcomers were to go in and take administrative rights away from everybody but yourselves and then... let's say...forget your password, I think were fairly safe. I'll set all your administrative rights back so that if one of us other administrators posts unflattering pictures of yourselves, you're able to go in and delete them. :)
I was wondering how long it would take to change the "Clark and Iroz" blog's description. Looks like you did it Mom. Hope I saved a copy of the poem.
Grandma, thank you for letting me know about the family site and for checking out my site that Jim and I made. For anyone else who wants to see, www.burgesshomes.com/littlebrowneyes.html
Good talking to you, love you all,
Love,
Mari
