Eric The Great
...Dan Iroz, 11Feb05
You’ve heard of Eric the Great…
Or was that Alexander?
And Eric the Red
Of him it’s said… well…
See “Saga of Greenlander”
And for those of you
With contemporary hues,
Perhaps you’ve heard of Clapton.
With slow hand guitar
Blues from the heart
A master at his profession.
But amongst us here
Is one more dear
Than the Red was to Viking maidens
And in his field
He does not yield
To those who would defeat him
And like the Persian foe of Great’s
Who did so underestimate
This young Greek God who o’er them trod
Like so much rice at weddings,
Our enemy here
Was likewise sheared…
Blustering as it bellowed.
So to our hero Eric Gurr
We give our thanks and say…
If you could sing and play guitar
Like you can move and shake,
You’d capture Clapton waking Elvis
Both eating sour grapes!

Good job Dan. How was the surprise party? Was he really surprised? How old is he anyway?
I guess it's just you and I who visit our family site Dan. Seems that way anyway. Melissa said she tried to post a picture of Jaclyn taken recently at Mr. Charleston. Said it wouldn't work. You don't have to be an administrator to post pictures etc do you. I don't think so. She sounded frustrated and I haven't had time to catch her online this last week. We have worked in the yard all day everyday until yesterday. It has been raining here these past few days. Troy did you have any trouble getting on etc. Didn't seem too. I"m waiting for some pictues of the cute little son of yours though. And tell us how you like it and exactly where you are etc. We love you all See ya later gators.
