Gavin James Prisbrey

Dear Family, I hope you have all had a wonderful Thanksgiving...I thought about you all. I thought I would write a short note and catch you up on our family happenings as well as ask for your faith and prayers. Adam and Emily had a little boy two weeks ago. Gavin came with out nearly the problems that we had been prepped for. He does has some pretty funky looking feet; he has bilateral club feet. They are being cast at Primary Childrens and will be completely repositioned by the time he is three or four. Emily has take Gavin to SLC and will stay with Heather for the next week, the baby will have two cast changes and then she and the baby will go back to WY where her family is. She plans on staying there until Adam comes home and gets settled; she very much hopes that Adam can do what she and the baby need him to do and is prepared to walk away if not. Watching them leave today was very sad. Adam is in a drug rehabilitation here in Cedar. It has been an intense program and we have had very limited contact with him. We do know that he is struggling and not sure he will complete the program. He wants to, I know he is working hard but the scanty feedback we get indicates he isn't performing as expected and we aren't even sure what that means. Our family is fasting next sunday and I would ask those of you that could and be willing, if you would fast for Adam, Emily and this baby.. Pray that Adam will be able to understand, comply and perform. That he will have the confidence and ability to understand concepts and progress. Thanks Mari has also been officially put on bedrest with preclampsia. She is 32 wks and they will try to keep her down and stable for another four weeks. They have started the steroids for lung developement. Her little baby is 32 wks and 4.5 lbs. If you could remember her as well. I love you all and feel stronger when I think of you; I know of your faith and prayers and I am thankful. I love you Marijeanne
