For anyone interested...

Dear Family

I thought I would forward Josh's email knowing some of you would be interested. Also, his mission president has asked the following regarding Christmas mail/presents

All packages, cards and letters to be at mission home by Dec. 12
Would family members include a spiritual letter specifically a conversion story. Let your missionary know how his mission is blessing their lives.
Have packages/letters/cards all noted or otherwise designated as Christmas. All Josh's mail comes through the mission home and they would need to know which mail items are for Christmas and need to be kept back until Christmas Eve when the missionaries will meet for a special fireside.

Hi mom. I got your message today a week after you wrote it to me. I check e-mails in the mornings on P day and you must have sent it in the afternoon. I had no idea this had happened. That was amazing! I can't imagine how scary it might have been for Heather. I am so happy that Olivia is going to be OK. Wow I am still in shock from hearing this. I really do not know what to say. I will pray for Olivia, but also Heather and Michael as well. I can't imagine how hard this must be for them. I am so happy that she is OK! Thank you for letting me know. Please keep me up to date on things.

Well I have some good news to add to this miraculous experience. I Baptized Gianni yesterday! It was amazing! It was quite an expedience for me. Elder Perry and I have been teaching Gianni for about 3 weeks now. He is 9 years old and has been very interested in learning about Jesus Christ. His Mom, Delia, contacted us 3 weeks ago and wanted us to teach Gianni. After meeting with Gianni for almost a week, We asked him if he wanted to be baptized and he was really excited to. But as always, before any investigator can be baptized they have to meet certain requirements. So for two weeks we have been preparing him for this special ceremony. This last Saturday, We reminded Gianni that his baptism was tomorrow. We told him how excited we were. He on the other hand was not so excited. After talking to him and seeing what the deal was, he explained that he didn't want a lot of people to be there. We tried to explain to him that the people that were going to be there were people who love him. This comforted him a little. After choosing me to Baptize him and Elder Perry to confirm him, He seemed like he was really excited to be baptized.

Well The day we all were waiting for came and I was sort of nervous. We changed and came in to the room, sat down and waited for everyone to come in. As we waited I just saw more and more people show up. Gianni got more and more nervous seeing more and more people come in. I did my best to comfort him but it just wasn't helping. When it was time do the baptism Gianni was just devastated. I looked at him and I saw tears coming out of his eyes. Elder Perry walked out with us. We comforted him a little. Gianni and I entered the door where the font was and I could see that this was really uncomfortable for him. I was about to say something when I heard Elder Perry call for Gianni. Curiously I looked around the corner and there was Elder Perry and two other missionaries standing in between the almost shut doors. I told Gianni to look around the corner. When he did he sort of smiled and took me by the had and we entered the water. We got in place and I told him to close his eyes. As soon as he did so Elder Perry opened the doors. Knowing how scared Gianni was I was determined to put him as deep as I could in case of any part of him were to come out of the water. I said the prayer and whispered to him to hold his breathe. I put him under and brought him back up. After I did this the first thing he said was "wow that was deep." I smiled at him he smiled back and it was a good baptism.

Mom I am so glad you shared that experience with me. It shows that God really does watches and cares for his children. How glad I am to be able to witness this every day. Not only in my own life but in the lives of others. I am so happy that Olivia is going to be OK. Tell Heather I love her. Tell her my prayers will be with her. I love you mom keep me updated.
