At The Cabin With the Wiscombe Girls

Since I haven't perfected the slide show for the blog I will just hurry and do this. It is really a test too. I am home for the day to pay taxes and bring the quad and truck home. Will take the car back. Don is helping Michael do a deck they are building off the kitchen. He says he 'hands things to him" :) We have come down from the moutain and enjoying the weather in Cedar right now. Also the great garden and fresh eggs every day. You must see their cute little chicken coop. Well it looks like a little house and the chickens love to roam the yard and eat the bugs and scratch in the dirt. It is fun to see Jessy sit and just watch them. I will blog a picture when I get back. My camera was all full.

We have so enjoyed all of you that were able to visit while at the cabin. How fun it is to be able to get acquainted with our little ones and the way to do that is at the cabin it seems. I love the hammoc (sp) that Venita and Bart gave us. It was the gramma station and we spent many hours cuddling and reading books etc. I will blog more later. In these pictures you see the big fish that Venita stalked for a week and then finally caught the day before she had to go home. It was delicious. Heather caught her's the day they left and froze it to take home to Dad. He had to leave after the weekend. ( Someone has to work).

You will see Ventia trying to feed a deer that was munching on the trees that had been cut down. She didn't (the deer) seem to mind and Venita got pretty close to her. It was fun to watch. We love the cabin and find more peace there than anywhere except the temple.

We love you all and missed seeing some of you. I hope next year each of you will take a turn visiting. We will be home for the winter soon.
