Update on Mom and Dad

We finally received word on the tests done in Salt Lake for Dad. The Dr. has given him an okay for another year. The cat scan didn't show anything adverse except some scarring on his bladder, but the cancer has not grown or metastasized. That was a relief to know. We are blessed. We just found out he has to go back up for his final on the study he has been a part of though in July. I wish they had let us know about that before now. We thought we didn't need to see that Dr. until the fall. Venita and Bart are going to get tired of us.

I am trying out a new hearing aid in my left ear and had another mapping on my implant. In some ways it is better but not as good as I had hoped for but guess I will take any little bit of improvement I can get.

We are doing well. Donald is doing well. He is still studying for his test and hope that happens soon. We are going into Vegas for a round of high school graduations tomorrow. Carly, Jaclyn, and Emily. Three days in a row. Will stay at Melissa and Scott's. They have invited us to dinner after Jaclyn's on Wednesday, and Emily has invited us to celebrate her graduation and her mom's 50th birthday on Thursday evening. Don is loaning the car to Donald so he can spend time with his girls while in there. We hope that goes well.

We are busy. We went to a 15th birthday celebration for Pedro's granddaughter last Saturday. I can't pronounce, let alone spell, the occasion, but it was long and loud but very nice. A very family affair with lots of little kids and good food. The music was so loud; I'm thinking we both lost a few decibels of hearing. ( some we couldn't afford.)
