A Little News From The Iroz' in Woodland

We love our ward and new surroundings. The kids are looking forward to summer. We have a little stream running all through our neighborhood and we hear the neighborhood kids fish in it all summer long. Jeffrey is soooo excited for fishing. The girls are going to participate in the jr. livestock 4-H program and raise lambs. Tell Don that we will be calling for pointers. They are excited. Rachel’s new little friend down the street will be doing it too. They have plans to walk their lambs together everyday. Apparently there are several children in our ward that are involved. Their club is called the Woodland Woolies! They will sell them at the fair in August. Clark might want to do it next year when he watches his sisters earn money this summer.

Clark likes school. e loves it here and has many good friends. More friends than in Henderson. Clark will be turning 14 next week. We will have his friends over for pizza of something. A couple of weeks ago he went with his scout troop to the Klondike Derby just up the canyon. Snow Camping! The boys dug snow caves and slept in them. Brrrrrrrrr!

As for me, I have been keeping myself busy with scapbooking (I have my own room in the basement) and I recently painted our family room and kitchen. I have been cooking a lot and have been enjoying it. There’s not a restaurant close by! The kids are now expecting a lot form me now. The past 3 years have been so crazy that the kids never expected dinner on the table too often. My life has slowed way down and it’s a good change. I am a primary teacher to the 7-8 year olds. I love it! A couple of weeks ago I met Heather and Isabelle in SL and we went shopping and to lunch. Heather and Michael come up often and have dinner. Michael and David get along so well, it’s fun.
